We have a dedicated team who are appointed to handle your claim from start to finish. We work for you and support you to ensure your claims is handled promptly, without fuss and fairly. We will keep you up to date on outstanding claims and fight for you if we think you are not at fault for an incident.
We scrutinize claims experience. Whilst we appreciate the insurers compile their figures from computers there will be unique situations to every claim which could affect whether another insurer is interested in quoting.
The underwriter needs to be made aware of the make up of the claims experience -
- Frequency - How many claims were there as a percentage of total claim numbers.
- How many were "non fault" claims.
- How many claims were below a given cost threshold
- Have there been any third party recoveries.
- Is there an active risk management programme.
- What action has been taken following claims to minimise the risk of a recurrence.
Claims Reporting
You will receive a full written report each year. This will detail how claims are settled and a note on the present position of all outstanding claims. This will enable you to take any necessary action to minimise the risk of similar claims occurring again.
